canister clips/hinges do not snap in place

I just purchased a used XP3. The hinges do not snap in place on the corners when the motor casing is installed on top. They are very loose and not tight at all. What parts need to be replaced?

A: If you just purchased this item in a sealed box the clamps would be attached. If they were not attached then the canister hinges may be broken. You should return the item as defective.
