trouble attaching tubing fix...

Most people have cod liver oil in their fridge - rub a very small amount on the plastic ends and the tubes slide right on with no heating. The cod liver oil won't hurt a thing or cause problems...

Hot water trick

I can confirm the lubrication/hot water trick works. I had the same problem so I soaked the ends in really hot water for a few minutes, then applied lubricate to both the hoses and the parts that the hoses attach to - went on no trouble then!
