Filstar XP3, BioChem Zorb and Black Carbon together?

Hi,
I am using two XP3 filters in a 100 gallon tank and currently each has the Black Carbon pack in the top tray under the white pad. I want to incorporate Zorb packs in this system. Do they replace the Black Carbon bag or are they used along with them? If so, where? The directions for placement are the same. With two filters, what is the most optimum media setup and which type of Zorb is best?
Thanks
A: Good questions! BioChem Zorb is included because it acts on a wider variety of pollutants than the carbon. So, depending on your particular water quality issues you may be better served with both or not. If your tank has a lot of issues with color and odor then carbon may be all you need. On the other hand if you have more problems with nitrates, then BioChem Zorb only is probably the best choice.
