filter leaks

when the XP3 is running it works fine, once i unplug it, it leaks from the top, is it the o ring missing?

A: If you have a weak seal then shutting the water may put extra pressure on the seal and it will leak. Eventually, it will leak all the time. If the leak is between the top of the canister and motor (where the clips attach) then this is most likely a canister O'ring. If the leak is around the Quick disconnect and water is running out the cord area or around the quick disconnect this is most likely either the Orings on the quick disconnect or the QD was not fully seated into top of the filter
when the handle was pulled down. You can purchase the seals at
