how do i get the prime to work

I just cleaned my tank and when i hooked it back up no water came down............I think i ned to prime it just not sure where the funnel goes........cute huh

A: It sounds like the motor has not been damaged but the
filter is not priming correctly. The first thing I would do is review the
Q&A's already posted in the performance section. I think there are several that cover similar issues. Second, I would review the video at Mars Fishcare regarding the proper setup and restart of the filter which might tell why the filter is not priming properly.
