How do we stop tiny air bubbles from pumping into our tank?

by Michelle
(San Clemente, Ca, USA)

We just set up our brand new filter. My husband followed the instructions perfectly, but now that the filter is running (has been for 10 minutes) it is spitting millions of tiny air bubbles into the tank. We know this is not good, how do we correct it? All connections are good and tight.

A: Since your filter is so new your best bet to get answers to this type question is to contact the dealer where you purchased the item since they are more familiar with your setup. The only way to get air into the tank is through the intake side of the system. If you have a setup problems, you should also contact the manfacturer, Mars Fishcare, as stated in your manual and directions. If you don't have that information here it is again:

Mars Fishcare: 1-800-847-0659 or DocWellFish@AquariumPharm.com

Planet Rena is an authorized distributor of Mars Fishcare products and we are happy to answer questions about parts or products needed to complete your setup.
