How do you clean the intake and out take hoses on the Rena XP filter?

How do you clean the intake and out take flexible hoses on the Rena XP1 canister filter? They are clamped on and the hose is connected so tightly they don't pull off without damaging the hard pipe extensions. A: If they are that tight you will need to replace them in order to get a clean pair. In the future you might want to put a small amount of silicone lubricant on the connectors so you can remove them more easily in the future. |
