I have a Rena xp2 leaking from the power cord.

by Scott Sigler
(California)

I have found this question several times on the site but the answer is always "this has been covered in Q&A", so I really haven't received an answer. I need to know what to replace to stop the leaking from the power cord and if possible the part number of the part. Any help would be great, thanks.

A: You have either a defective quick-disconnect or air leaking around the orings. To test the quick disconnect, lift the handle and remove the quick-disconnect and the water should stay trapped in the tube. If water continues to run out then you have a defective quick-disconnect. To find out more about the quick-disconnect view the videos on the site.

Here are some links to those sections that contain information about startup problems and general performance.
