I have an XP3 that will run for a few minutes and then stop. ???

I have replaced just about everything except the canister and the problem is the same. I replaced the motor,o-rings,impeller,hose connector assembly etc. The filter is about 3 years old and had worked good up until the last few months. The filter will run good for about 2-3 minutes then slow to a trickle and just stop. I can hear the motor running but zero output. Any ideas?

A: Unless the rotor/impeller is actually stopping or being slowed down by debris or damage, the most likely cause is poor priming or water flow through the system.
