is there an oring inside the propeller?

by Misty schmidt
(odessa tx)

our rena filstar xp started rattling so i took out the propeller shaft etc. the white propeller is loose from the magnetic part should it be? also there was a tiny oring that had been warn out in there .. where does it go?

A: You need to replace your impeller. You can buy it here. The XP4 impeller can't be repaired when the impeller blades separate from the magnet (rotor). The Oring you speak about is actually part of the rotor/impeller and is used to absorb torque when the motor is turned back on. It prevents damage to the rotor/impeller.
