it wont pump any water

by Jose L Flores
(DeSoto Texas)

Hi, i have a rena filter that i had not used for about a year, when i installed it it worked fine for about two days then it stop pumping the water, i can still hear the motor runing but no water is being pumped in or out can u advise please?

A: This question is covered in the Filstar XP Performance Category. Grinding, squealing, chattering etc are all caused by lack of water in the upper area of the filter motor. This lubricates the rotor impeller and keeps it cool. How to fix this is covered under filter performance.
