leak from top seal

I own an xp3 for about two tears now,My problem is i have a leak from around the top seal. I removed the seal and it seems to be fine,I also reseated the baskets.When i attach the lid with the clamps they clip on but are still loose. The clamps themselves are still firmly attached to the canister. any advice would be appreciated.
