Leaking XP3 lid

We have had an XP3 for less than a year. In the last few months, we have had a problem where more water is leaking into and out of the lid — each water change it seems to get worse and water seems to drip out and down the power cord. We checked the O-Rings and have used "tommy tape" to help create a better seal around the input valves. But recently even the Tommy Tape has not worked perfectly.

A: I can't say for sure what is causing the problem but since the product is still under warranty why not contact the manufacturer directly. In the US that is Mars Fishcare (formerly Aquarium Pharmaceuticals, Inc.) This is the information in the product manual or literature that came with your product.
