left the filter the running without sucking in water,

by Danilo Bugayong
(Everett Washington)

I left my Xp4 running below the water line for the whole day,the motor is warm to the touch.Took it out and clean it but it won't pump,is there any solution for this?
A: There is a difference between "not running" and "not pumping". If the motor runs but doesn't pump then you have a priming or flow problem and if the motor does not run at all then it might be burned up you'll need to replace it.
