Myxp filter keeps leaking on on of the sides of the top part new the motor

by Col. Nathaniel Green
(Summerville SC)

I have only my xp3 filter for a few months and have had nothing but problems with it. First I had to replace the impellea that cost me $40.oo dollars from a local fish store.

I purcheased my Reana fliter as a replacement for another filter on my 120 gallon tank. I also run a large A-mircale Filter system on the same tank its a good thing too because if I had to depend on this rena filter I would have lost all my fish. I have around six discus fish along with a few small rummey noises in this tank so I like to have a lot of filtration on the tank.

Its taking me alot of time and mony trying to get this thing to work right not to mention its hard to get the thing to prime the water when you first get started.

IF you can please tell me what I sould do to stop this thing from leaking I had to unplug it today and have remove it from under my fish tank. This was beccause of a slow but steadly water loss.

A: Your filter is under warranty and you should direct this type of question to the manufacturer, Mars Fishcare. This is the info that came with your filter. You can reach them at http://www.MarsFishcare.com.
