not enough water comming out of the Rena XP spraybar

by Sabrina
(Alexandria LA)

Hello I have bought the Rena xp2 about 6 month ago. I have a 46 gallon tank. I noticed lately that it doesn't put out enough clean water through the spraybar. I took the filter apart and cleaned out the 4 sponges and rinsed of the carbon pouch. I also cleaned out the super micro filtration pad. It worked fine for two day's. Today I noticed little water pressure out of the spraybar again. I change my carbon and the super micro pad ones a month. I rinse out the 4 sponge filters every two weeks. What could be the problem. I was also wondering how often the bio chem stars need to be changed ? Thanks Sabrina

A: There is a lot information about this in the performance category. Please read through this first and if you still can't fix it please add a comment to the discussion and somone will usually offer additional advice.
