I have had my XP3 for 2 years. I have dont regular cleaningings and replaced the hoses. Recently it has gone down to practically a trickle. Occasionally it surges but not often.

I have cleaned all the o rings and checked the connections, replaces /cleaned hoses.

The impeller was tested while it was open and is spinning. The sides of the mag are clean and still very smooth.

I am at a loss and cant aford to buy a new one.. what am i missing?



A: Slow flow is generally caused by poor priming and water flow through the system. My guess is that when you restart the filter after cleaning, water does not completely fill the cansiter. This results in poor performance and slow flow. There are other causes as well. There have been a number of Q&A's already posted on this subject. Here are some links to those sections:
