Rena Filstar XP motor is noisy

by RJ
(Sarasota)

Sounds like a clunking noise where the fins of the impeller are banging around on something. I took out the impeller and cleaned it, put it back and still makes that noise for 5 min then quiets up than in 1 min starts making the noise again.

A: Please also go to our page with the performance questions. Some of the solutions are in there that might fix this. But I did want to mention one other reason this might be happening that is not related to priming. It is possible that the Impeller cover is not locking into the notches on the side of the impeller area. This might cause the rotor to wobble and this will make the motor noisy. Performance Page
