Rena xp3 spray bar noise

I just bought a brand new xp3 filter off ebay. I was just wondering why the spray bar is making so much noise, and what I can do to make it stop. It sounds like someone is whistling. My fish tank is in my room and its getting really annoying

A: Since your filter is so new it is best to contact the seller or Manufactuer, Mars Fishcare, directly about a replacement. This is the information that came with your filter. I can tell you that you have purchased an older model and that changes were made to the spray bar several years ago to prevent this problem.
