Unable to get suction or water flow

by Elizabeth
(Oregon)

My 90 gal tank ran half empty about a week ago due to a leak, and I noticed when putting it back together my XP2 had a very weak output. Disconnected, cleaned and put back together and does not move water at all. No obvious leaks, holes, all connections seem tight. Can hear and feel the motor doing something. Tried several times to restart it, no water movement. Worried the motor burned out from running several hours with a half full tank. Not sure what to do or try?

A: There is all kinds of info on this web site about poor performance. You can look at the videos or look under performance in the Q&A section. You might have fried the Rotor/Impeller or you may have damaged the motor. But start in these sections. Some other folks may also reply to this post so stay tuned.
