Water will not come out the outtake after canister is filled up on XP4 need help please

After my canister fills up on my XP4 when I plug it in nothing is happening the filter is pretty quite and no water will come out of the outtake to the spray bar. The filter is only a month old and I have tried numerous times over and over again and can not get it to work. Anyone have any suggestions on what could be wrong?
