What about a small aquarium?

Ok, so my latest aquarium is puny, just a 5-gallon kit (Aqua-Culture) from Wal-mart, but it's about all that I really want to deal with at my age (63). There are five small danios and a couple of corys. But the kit-style filter that came with the aquarium does not seem to do very well. The water has become very cloudy in just a couple of weeks despite one 50% water replacement. The fishes are fed lightly twice a day, and the corys stay busy all day. I've heard great things about RENA, but these are apparently only for large aquariums, not my small time rig. Any suggestions?
A: Rena does not make anything small enough. My suggestion, if it can be done, is to add an undergravel filter. If you have cloudy water you need more biological filtration going on. We actually include a modular Rena UG system with every Aquael air pump we sell. You can see them here: Aquael 100
