what is best media setup for a goldfish tank

i have a 55 gallon aquarium and just bought the xp3. what is my best media to use and what order do you recommend for my oranda and ranchu goldfish. am i ok using just what came with it or should i change out or add extra media. thanks!

A: The filter comes ready to go for goldfish and about 90% of all other tanks. After the tank matures you should take regular water quality readings and if you notice a persistent problem that could be helped with other media or slightly different setup then you always have the option to change.
