Would a Rena XP2 be enough for a 40 gallon TURTLE tank?

Would a Rena XP2 be enough for a 40 gallon TURTLE tank? I only have 1 turtle (6"), but I know they are much messier than fish.

A: It will work but XP3 is better. More options.
