xp2

Hi, I have a rena xp2 which when primed and turned on for the first time runs for about 2/ 3 minutes, then just stops. The force out of the outlet is quite strong when working. Would losing the black stoppers at the end of the impeller axis (and replacing them with bluetack) have any thing to do with it, though it has been running for a year or so like this with no problem. Thanks for your help. Pete
A: Any change to the rotor/impeller and the use of a different bearing system than what is included might be the problem or not. The bearings included are designed to perfectly center the rotor impeller within the magnetic field in such a way that the motor runs efficiently and with power. However, it could be many other things which are discussed in the Q&A section. Take some time to go through that also.
